Thundertrap TrainerPrerelease

This page covers the prerelease printing of Thundertrap Trainer (78s), a Blue Creature — Otter Wizard from Prerelease Cards (PRE). It is printed at Rare rarity. The one keyword in its text is Offspring. It is legal in Standard, Pioneer, Modern and Legacy and 7 more formats.

We track no other printing of 78s in this set, so there is no base card here to compare its price with.

The cheapest listing we track in the United States is US$4.66, 30% below TCGplayer's US$6.67 market price. Only one store has it in the United States, so the price is whatever that shop asks and there is no second quote to check it against.

Across 3 markets the prices sit close together; the United Kingdom is cheapest, but not by enough to cover shipping. In each market's own currency the cheapest listings read £3.58 in the United Kingdom, US$4.66 in the United States and A$12.50 in Australia. Conversions use indicative exchange rates, and postage, duty and import tax are not included, so a cheaper market elsewhere is a fact about listings and not a reason to import.

The market price moved +0% over the last 7 days; there is not yet a 30-day window to set that against. It is trading at its 90-day high of US$6.67.

Prerelease Cards is a promo release. Thundertrap Trainer has 3 other cards in the database, listed further down the page.

Offspring {4} (You may pay an additional {4} as you cast this spell. If you do, when this creature enters, create a 1/1 token copy of it.) When this creature enters, look at the top four cards of your library. You may reveal a noncreature, nonland card from among them and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
