Esper Origins

Esper Origins (185) is a Green Sorcery // Enchantment Creature — Saga Elemental from FINAL FANTASY (FIN). It costs {1}{G} and has mana value 2. It is printed at Rare rarity. Its text prints Flashback and Surveil. It is legal in Standard, Pioneer, Modern and Legacy and 7 more formats.

185 exists in 2 printings on TCGplayer, and each is priced as its own product. The standard print is the one to play with at US$2.19, while the Borderless print is the collector's version at US$3.99. For reference the other printings read Borderless US$3.99 on TCGplayer.

The cheapest listing we track in the United States is US$0.49, 78% below TCGplayer's US$2.19 market price. 4 stores have it in stock, and the next-cheapest listing is US$1.53, 212% more than the cheapest, so the first row is worth taking.

The United States is the cheapest of the 4 markets that have it, and Australia is dearest at about 273% more once converted. In each market's own currency the cheapest listings read US$0.49 in the United States, C$2.40 in Canada, S$2.40 in Singapore and A$2.75 in Australia. Conversions use indicative exchange rates, and postage, duty and import tax are not included, so a cheaper market elsewhere is a fact about listings and not a reason to import.

It is trading at its 90-day high of US$2.19.

FINAL FANTASY is a main expansion, released June 2025. Esper Origins has 1 other card in the database, listed further down the page.

Surveil 2. You gain 2 life. If this spell was cast from a graveyard, exile it, then put it onto the battlefield transformed under its owner's control with a finality counter on it. (If a creature with a finality counter on it would die, exile it instead.) Flashback {3}{G} (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.) // (As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.) I — Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a permanent card, put it into your hand. II — Add {G}{G}. III — Other creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain trample until end of turn.
