Magic: The Gathering Star Trek pre-order prices
Nothing has shipped yet, so every store is simply picking an opening price, and they are picking different ones. Each Star Trek product below starts with the marketplaces, eBay and TCGplayer, then every store we track in the United States that takes pre-orders, cheapest first, in USD. Sold-out stores stay on the list, marked. Prices refresh once a day.
Across all 6 markets we track, 31 stores list Star Trek pre-orders, in 5 markets. eBay and TCGplayer are not counted as stores.

What each Star Trek product is
From Wizards of the Coast's Star Trek product page, read 14 October 2026. The US MSRPs are Wizards' own, from Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article of 14 July 2026 (read 16 October 2026): suggested prices in US dollars, not what any store charges. The prices above are what stores are actually asking.
- Play Booster
- The set's main booster, which Wizards calls the best way to build a Star Trek deck. Sold as single packs and in sealed displays.
- US MSRP US$6.99 a booster
- Draft Night
- A self-contained kit for a Pick-Two Draft with four players.
- US MSRP US$119.99 a kit
- Bundle
- In Wizards' words, “an entire bevy of Play Boosters and additional Magic goodies”. The product page does not list the exact contents.
- US MSRP US$69.99 a bundle
- Commander Deck
- Four ready-to-play decks for Commander, each themed on a Star Trek crew, fleet or army.
- US MSRP US$74.99 a deck
- Collector Booster
- Wizards' premium booster, with Rares, Traditional Foils, a Full-Art land and a chance at Headliner Signed cards: cards autographed by Star Trek actors, printed in English only and found in Collector Boosters of every language.
- US MSRP US$37.99 a booster
- Collector's Edition Commander Deck
- Four 100-card Commander decks in Surge Foil, Wizards says; TCGplayer lists one under each Commander deck's name.
- US MSRP US$159.99 a deck
- Beam Me Up Bundle
- A bundle for dedicated fans: exclusive ship schematics, Full-Art Away Team lands, Play Boosters and a Collector Booster, among other things, in Wizards' list.
- US MSRP US$99.99 a bundle
- Scene Box
- Two boxes, Divergent Timeline and Enterprise-Q, each with six Borderless Scene cards that together show one scene.
- US MSRP US$41.99 a box
TCGplayer lists the Commander decks as Federation Fleet, Klingon Fury, Landing Party and We Are the Borg.
What is confirmed, as of 16 October 2026
- Star Trek releases on 13 November 2026. (Wizards of the Coast's Star Trek product page, 14 October 2026)
- The products are Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, a Bundle, the Beam Me Up Bundle, Draft Night, four Commander Decks, four Collector's Edition Commander Decks and two Scene Boxes. No price is printed. (Wizards of the Coast's Star Trek product page, 14 October 2026)
- Headliner Signed cards, autographed by the actors, can be pulled from Collector Boosters. (Wizards of the Coast's Star Trek product page, 14 October 2026)
- Prerelease events run from 6 to 12 November 2026. (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 16 October 2026)
- The MTG Arena release is 10 November 2026. (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 16 October 2026)
- The four Commander decks are Federation Fleet, Landing Party, Klingon Fury and We Are the Borg, each also sold as a Collector's Edition in Surge Foil. (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 16 October 2026)
- Three new mechanics, Assimilate, Face a Dilemma and Federation, and the return of Spacecraft and station from Edge of Eternities. (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 16 October 2026)
- The set codes are TRK for the main set, TRC for the Commander decks and SDS for the stardates cards, and TRK is legal in every format, Standard included. (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 16 October 2026)
- The Star Trek Beginner Box has been cancelled. (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 16 October 2026)
When to pre-order Star Trek, and when to wait
Two dates matter before 13 November 2026. Prerelease events, which Wizards lists for 6 to 12 November 2026, are when the first copies are opened and the first singles change hands. Release day is when stores ship pre-orders and singles go on general sale.
- Want to open product? Pre-ordering is reasonable, because a store's allocation, not its price, is what runs out. The spread between the cheapest and the dearest store above is the reason to compare first: it is the same box either way.
- Want particular cards? Waiting is usually cheaper. Singles are at their most volatile in prerelease week and the first days after release, and typically settle a few weeks later once supply catches up. The TRK cards revealed so far can be watched one by one.
- Not sure a box is worth opening? That needs real singles prices, which an unreleased set does not have. The box EV calculator answers it for every set that is out.
We do not forecast prices here and will not tell you a number is going up. What this page can tell you is what every store we track is asking today, in your currency.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Star Trek Play Booster display cost to pre-order?
Pre-order prices vary between stores because nothing has shipped and each store sets its own opening price. This page lists every tracked store's pre-order price in your market, cheapest first, beside TCGplayer's lowest listing in the US. Wizards of the Coast sets a US MSRP of US$6.99 per Play Booster (Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article, 14 July 2026) and publishes none for a display, so we quote none for one.
When does Magic: The Gathering Star Trek release?
13 November 2026. That is the date on Wizards of the Coast's Star Trek product page (read 14 October 2026). Wizards of the Coast's Collecting Star Trek article says that prerelease events run from 6 to 12 November 2026, and that the MTG Arena release is 10 November 2026.
What is the difference between a Star Trek Play Booster and a Collector Booster?
The Play Booster is the set's main booster, the one to open and to play with. The Collector Booster is wizards' premium booster, with Rares, Traditional Foils, a Full-Art land and a chance at Headliner Signed cards: cards autographed by Star Trek actors, printed in English only and found in Collector Boosters of every language. They are priced very differently, so compare each with its own kind.
Is it cheaper to pre-order or to wait until release?
It depends on what you want. Sealed product often sits near its opening price during pre-orders, and the risk of waiting is a store's allocation running out rather than a price change. Singles are usually at their most expensive in the first days after release and settle once supply catches up. If you want to open product, compare pre-orders; if you want particular cards, waiting and buying singles is usually cheaper.
Are these pre-order prices final?
No. A pre-order price is what a store asks today, and stores change them before release as allocations firm up. We read the stores once a day; nothing here is a commitment from a store or from us. Confirm the price and the store's pre-order terms at checkout.
Do the prices include postage?
No. They are item prices, ranked as listed. A sealed box ships as a parcel, so check each store's checkout for postage, and for import tax if the store is abroad.
What are the Star Trek Commander decks?
TCGplayer lists four Star Trek Commander decks: Federation Fleet, Klingon Fury, Landing Party and We Are the Borg. It also lists Collector's Edition versions, which Wizards describes as 100-card Commander decks in Surge Foil. Every one a store takes pre-orders for is priced on this page.
How does MTG Compare earn money from this page?
TCGplayer and eBay links are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission on a qualifying purchase at no cost to you. Store rows are not paid placements and no store can buy a better position: every row is ranked by its item price.
