First strike
A creature with first strike deals combat damage before creatures without it.
A creature with first strike deals combat damage before creatures without it. If it kills its blocker or attacker in that first step, it takes no damage back.
This is a short paraphrase of the keyword from the Comprehensive Rules, not a ruling on a particular card; read the card's own text and the official rules for a tricky case.
Cards that give First strike to other permanents are listed too.
