Madness
Madness lets you cast a card for its madness cost when you discard it, instead of putting it into your graveyard.
Madness lets you cast a card for its madness cost when you discard it, instead of putting it into your graveyard. Discard outlets make the card a bargain, a design built for the discard deck.
This is a short paraphrase of the keyword from the Comprehensive Rules, not a ruling on a particular card; read the card's own text and the official rules for a tricky case.
Cards that give Madness to other permanents are listed too.
